What is Chickscope?

Chickscope is an on-line MRI project created for schoolchildren.
The students, ranging from kindergarden
to high school, will be able to learn about chicken
embryology by operating an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) microscope
over the internet. The MRI, located at the
Beckman
Institute Magnetic Resonance Imaging Laboratory, will be have an
egg placed inside and be able to be accessed at certain times by each
school over the WWW. Other educational material, including pictures,
video and other links, will be included in Chickscope as
well.
What's up doc?
Sometimes it is difficult to figure out which way is the top, side, or front
view when slicing through an egg. The following pictures should help.
